today was cross-training day. i know i have lots of options (swimming, water aerobics - remember that carlie? - stationary bike, stair-stepper) but what i forgot was that clint is out of town and the following options didn't seem like the "good mom" thing to do:
a. leave diego to watch owen at home while i worked out
b. sneak out to work out while owen was sleeping
c. bring owen to the gym and let him cry in his carseat while i work out
d. bring owen in the pool with me even though it was like 40 degrees out this morning
so, instead i opted for this.
kinda funny, but whatever. i could do it in my living room without having to feel like a loser mom. besides, i felt the BURN.
tomorrow will probably be tough - 35 min run. i am looking forward to running again, but i'm pretty sure i am going to have to stick with the treadmill for a while until i am strong enough to run with the stroller as well.

Awesome! How is the DVD!? I really need to cross train but the whole gym thing has not been working out so well since my kid is sleeping, oh, I don't know THREE hours a night! boooo. Do you remember the time we did the pilates video at my apartment in San Diego? Kind of reminded me of that video.
seriously!!! i remember thinking 'what the heck is this?' poor you, all serious and trying to get a good workout and i couldn't stop laughing! sooo funny!!
what's the deal with zach? we have to talk schedules one of these days, because ever since i changed owen's schedule it has been AMAZING.
